Our neighbors do this. They started after their oldest got her drivers' license and got a car. It drives my us nuts. They have a 2 car garage where they park 2 of their cars. We don't have a garage at all and just a short stubby driveway that only holds 1 car. When their DD drives, she parks closer to her house so we can still park one car in front of our house. When her father drives, he parks closer to our driveway/mailbox so there's not enough room for us to park in front of our house. My DH said something to them because it's pretty shitty when your neighbor won't park in front of his own house and keeps you from parking in front of your own. It's not like parking is an issue in the neighborhood and it's not like we're in the city. WTF?

My neighbors do the same thing. I think they are just selfish and inconsiderate. I've had to haul my small child and groceries from 3 houses away before because of this even though they have plenty of parking. They will park in front of my house and leave their driveway open, sometimes for several days. I just hate them.

If you park in your garage or drive, why does it bother you? It's a public street. My neighbor has always done this. Never occurred to me to be upset. Honestly. I really, truly don't see the issue...

Park your car in front of their house if they've taken the spot in front of your own house. Or - better yet - rent a POD and park it in front of their house for a month.

Visitors every single day? Doubtful.

My neighbor does this because he wants his truck facing a certain way. Eye roll.

Start sending your kids out to play ball in the front of your house. Before they start, send them over to ask the neighbor to move the car so they don't cause damage to it.

Alternatively, just park your car in the spot. Maybe politely let them know that once the weather improves, you plan to park on the street in front of your house because you will be doing work in your garage.

Rude. My neighbors at my old house used to do this too.

They're just being jerks. The probably don't pick up their dog's poop at night either.

I'm sure there is a reason they are doing it (don't want car in front of their house, want open spot for visitors, etc). While it's weird/annoying I wouldn't say anything since their is nothing technically wrong with doing so and not sure it would be worth the awkwardness that will exist between you afterwards.

I'd be peeved as well. Clearly they don't like the look of a car parked in front of their house. Jerks
