No. Quit wasting our time and unnecessarily dragging an organization through the mud.

There are some odd folks there. Some normal but some weird ones. Maybe that's all schools though.

Yes the emails come from the time you tour and give them the email address. A copy goes to Endowment and they keep you on the list in hopes of a contribution.

You do not send an email that says congratulations. that's just wrong!

Oh take a Xanax!! this is all you have to worry about? you are not very resilient. If your kid is anything like you maybe they shouldn't go to private.

Except the admissions process at other schools doesn't involve Valentine's wishes or congratulatory emails in February. Likely, these tactics are innocent and are meant to remind you of WES in a good way!!!

Don't get too hung up on the admissions process at ANY school. Focus instead on your observation of classes, discussions with parents and students, and review of curriculum and homework assignments. Those are your best bets. Good luck, all!

Its really insensitive to send a communication to applicants' families that begins with "congratulations!" I'm pretty sure thats OP's beef and not that there were communications at all.

PP: I would not worry about it. Even those who have not applied received these boxes. It could have been stuck in the mail.

The decision communication via e-mails and letters will be done early March.

Should I be worried that we didn't receive a Valentine's Day gift from WES? We applied and WES is our first choice!!!!

We also got the email and the valentine package and found it rather annoying because we did not apply to the school (only attended an open house). They should at least save their bothersome emails and gifts for those that actually applied!
