More will be revealed and if it's not the end of his career it certainly will be the end of his credibility and integrity. Once you've lost integrity what's left?

Seems like a liberal. So move along people, nothing to see here....

And now he's lying about his experience(s) during Hurricane Katrina; one, he swallowed flood water and got dystentery hand two, that he saw a dead body floating by while on assignment. Both have been discredited/disproved by authorities.

So inflated that he actually started believing his own lie....otherwise how could he have possibly thought that the truth wouldn't eventually come out!? I am shocked it took this long honestly. He went on Letterman- not sure when - but told this big long dramatic story. there was no MIS-REMEMBERING....just lying. filthy piece of shit with no balls would be too afraid to go to combat!! so he had to borrow someone else's bravery. but like the rest, he will be glorified and forgiven. he lost at least one viewer with me.

+1. Two viewers.

I mean really, after all this time, the facts - the so called truth, what difference does it really make??!?

this is not lying about something trivial, this is a huge lie. Don't you get that? he didn't lie about where he went to college...he lied about almost losing his life when there are many brave men and women who actually do this put their lives on the line every day. Whether it be firefighters, police"men" or soldiers. He is a gross over-paid piece of shit.

The pilot's story also seems to now be either an exageration or a complete fabrication at the request of the network.

Talking about it over breakfast this morning, DD asked what a reporter is.

We tried to explain to her why it is important that they "don't tell fibs" as national news reporters.

Drama llamas should avoid becoming news anchors. Or politicians.

Katrina

"My week, two weeks there, was not helped by the fact that I accidentally ingested some of the floodwater. I became very sick with dysentery, our hotel was overrun with gangs, I was rescued from the stairwell of a five star hotel in New Orleans by a young police officer we are friends to this day."

Maybe he was recalling being locked up at the fancy hotel with Nagin but misremembered it too.

Nightly News anchor admitted that for the last 12 years he has repeatedly lied about being shot down in a helicopter over Iraq.

12 years.

LOL !

The most trusted name in journalism. Like Dan Rather.

What I find arrogant is he apologized yet still kept the lie up. I wonder what other lies he's told over the years.
