Glad to know that when I go there, I won't be surrounded by those of you who boycott chick fil a bc the ceo has a different opinion than you do. It really will make for a much more pleasant environment. The type of person that does this is usually the type of person who is never really happy, judging everyone around them, and really just not any fun to be around. I think I will start going to chick fil a more often now. They have THE BEST customer service out of any fast food place I can think of, they treat their employees right, the food is high quality because the employees actually care, it's usually much cleaner than other fast food places, and of course, the food there is good! If I boycotted every food place that didn't hold my particular political or moral views I'd be dead from starvation.

I know a place where the chocolate eclairs are to absolutely die for. They have a picture of Obama on the wall. I refuse to give up those eclairs even though I have to look at his ugly mug when I go there.

I don't care what the individuals who own companies think or believe. I do care very much about the actions that they take, including how they spend the money that they earn from my chicken purchases. Money from Chick Fil-A has been used to support organizations that are promoting things like "conversion therapy" for teenagers and the anti-gay laws in Uganda, both things that I feel are abusive human rights violations.

Having said that, my purpose in joining the boycott is to convince the company to change their behavior. If the 2014 tax returns indicate that they didn't donate money to hate organizations, then I'll consider my boycott to have "worked" and reward them for changing their behavior by returning to their company.

Ultimately, gay marriage bans are dropping all over the country. My decision to eat their chicken plays no role in that. So, yay for nuggets.

So, if CFA wants to waste money trying to prevent gay marriage from happening, it's fine with me. It's great with me, actually -- it means that money won't go to something that the Christian right actually could influence like restricting women's rights further. So, I guess I should go get some Chick Fil A.

This is how I feel. I fully support gay rights, but it's hard for me to get too upset about Chick Fil A because they're such a dying breed. Not even Chick Fil A can stop progress.

I have to admit: I love hate fries. I didn't eat them before Windsor, but now I do -- it wasn't funny when they were succeeding in restricting my civil rights, but now that they're not, it's hilarious AND the fries are gluten-free.
