The two parents of Jackie and Jill who are siblings have discussed the issue. Children told 1) you are too young 2) not appropriate for cousins to have a romantic relationship.

The children will be taking a breather from each other. Then, play will be allowed in the public areas of the house (not behind closed doors).

Even if they weren't cousins, they are too young for a romantic relationship!! Ten years old? No way.

Jill should look into making some additional friends. She doesn't have to "dump" Jackie, and of course she is a cousin so they will see each other at some family events, but it's perfectly OK for girls that age to have a few friends. Especially as you say there is a 2 year age difference between them. (10-12)

Kids have to experience a lot of things. This is the time when their sexuality develops. Thanks god there were no labeling back then when I was in summer camp and we tried to kiss with another girl (10y. O. Or so). We made my younger cousin to pull his pants down in exchange of the promise to show our private parts. Of course we ran away in the end. Point is, that stuff like that is normal to satisfy some early curiosity. No counseling needed as nothing wrong with that. Let kids be kids.
