I'm a southerner (of random European descents). My parents frequently were naked. I remember having a skinny dipping party after school one day even (my dad did wear underwear). Mom still runs around naked. They don't shut bathroom doors well when showering. They try now because they don't want my DH to be uncomfortable, but yeah.

DH's family thinks I'm in a state of undress when I wear PJ pants to breakfast (I always put a bra on). I just love Pjs so much that it's hard to stop. They're definitely and anti naked family.

Couldnt help but notice everybody who thought parents nudity in front of children was normal was white/people of european descent. Same for the main nudist city was majority white (portland).No disrepect intended.

I am Eastern European and DH is American. I sleep naked, sometimes run around the house naked ( like when I got undressed to take a shower and remember to turn oven off in the kitchen). No one even notice in our family. I am taking my girls to spa world and they don't get fricked out by naked bodies. Both kids are American born. Younger, 9 y.o., still dancing around the house naked all the time. Or comes out of the shower naked and start telling something ( a long story or a long question) without even realizing that she is naked. Older daughter started to cover herself when pubic hair grew out.

When we vacationing in Spain or South France, there are tons of topless women there on the beach (all ages, up to 90s). It doesn't shock my kids at all. Younger can run at the beach in Europe without bra, just wearing bikini. She is dressed up on American beaches.

I love my body and take a good care of it. I am in my 40s, 115 -118 lb, flat stomach after two kids and toned (not athletic). I run in the gym very often just wearing sport bra and pants, no shirt. I think a lot of Americans have unhealthy retaliations with their bodies (and human bodies at all ).

I'm American. I used to sleep naked but then adopted a child. Now I sleep in boxer briefs.

I do think there's a big cultural difference when it comes to nudity and kids in public places, at least. I'm Australian. Most of us find it really weird that anyone would not be comfortable with kids (pre-puberty) changing at the beach or even jumping waves with no clothes on (certainly until age 6 or 7-ish). We have great freedom with that kind of thing - letting kids be kids.

Kids will naturally turn away from their naked parents (while screaming "MOOOOOOM!") in time, until they do, it's not an issue.

I'm pretty conservative in that I'm never nude unless in shower for the most part. I'm cool of course with other people bring nude whenever they want. If you've grown up with seeing parents nude, it's normal to you so it's all good.

I stay covered unless I am in the bedroom or shower. My mom was always naked around us but it was just my sister and myself. She was obese so I wasn't fond of seeing her nude.

We don't roam the house naked in front of our teens.

As we approach puberty even creepier!!!!

Adult nudity and baby/toddler not a problem--but nudity in front of opposite sex kids--yucky.

File me under "uptight" also. I prefer everyone in the family to have clothes on!

I am AA, and my daughter is 3. She is only just now realizing what naked is. I walk out of the bathroom naked sometimes and talk to her if she is yelling for me, but other than that I have at least underwear on. She likes to dance when naked, it's HILARIOUS.

Again, if it bothers my kid to see her daddy naked, she can stop barging into our room. We've asked her repeatedly not to come in first thing in the morning. Eventually, she will. I'm not going to lock my door to "protect" her, though.
