Another vote for Ticket to Ride -- my 8 year old loves it and DH and I sometimes play just us.

My 8 year old just got into Clue, which is fun.

She also just got Spy Alley, which she seems to like but I think is boring.

Rat a tat Cat was popular when she was a bit younger.

I love you too! We are thinking of buying Pandemic, Forbidden Island, and 10 Days in the USA and/or 10 Days in Europe. Do you have any of these games?

NP here-- we own Forbidden Island and Pandemic (but never heard of the 10 days...). As you probably know, those first two are pretty similar to each other but I think Pandemic is probably more popular in our house. There's also a newer game called Forbidden Desert along those lines where I think they tried to improve on Forbidden Island? and if you have an ipad there is a good version of forbidden island for the ipad.

We play a tile game called Snatch that challenges elementary to adult.

My almost 7-year-old got Labyrinth, too, and we've had a lot of fun playing it. Sleeping Queens & Rat-a-Tat-Cat are also favorites.

Another vote for Blokus. We have the version with triangular shapes.

Stratego is also fun.

We also like Bananagrams and You've been sentenced.

Hats Off, a game we loved in the 70s, came back fairly recently.
