If after the agree upon time you just pull out a magazine and start reading, or Just repeat " I'm sorry, the time we agree upon has ended" again and again. Will they really keep dragging it out for another hour?
I want to know this too. Sounds insane. Like seriously. Stuck in a mental hospital against my will insane.
Part of it is they always have to "check with a manager" and then he comes out & tries the harder sell, when that fails they bring out the next guy who basically tells you that your an idiot if you don't take this deal. Yes, there is some sort of voucher at the end, it might be bonus one though. Whatever you do, don't give them anyone's phone number, unless you hate that person & want to have them get spam phone calls for the next two years.

OP here. The kid I bought this from said my spouse did not have to attend.
I am going to ask very specific questions on rental history, fees and bring a print out of all the timeshares available in the resale market for $3000. Hoping that will decrease the number of rebuttals.
Unfortunately the kid you bought it from isn't the one running it at Massanutten. They Have this down to an art as I'm sure 99% of the folks that go have no intention of buying. You are stuck waiting for the "one person who can sign off" and there is always one super bargin available. Trust me they know how to do this / deal with people who don't want to be there.

Other than that, get the condo and not the hotel.
