So far they've been beating each other and crying over each others toys. The oldest has been reading and fighting off his brothers. The parents have imbibed so much wine that the poor holiday shift guy at the liquor store knows us now. There have been shining moments of Risk and chess I between beat downs but, in short, this is winter break with no money to travel!

Book reports in college over break? Luckily both my kids had finals before break so are relaxing.
About once a day DS will have a random burst of energy and go out and do something. But he mostly seems nocturnal.

I swear this gets posted every year. It's the classic DCUM Grey Poupon response to a question clearly intended to elicit some responses from others whose college kids are taking it easy during their breaks.
OP here and I don't mind 'grey poupon'. If that's what they're doing, GREAT! I think it's wonderful her children are being so productive. In Italy, no less.
Frankly, I'm a little jelly.
