Trash- not all of it. Just most of what I've bought it seems and only the newer items within the last 8 years. Terrible quality, chips quickly, cushions sag.

+1 We've had our PB Basic set for almost 12 years. In perfect condition. Can replace the slipcovers anytime, but haven't needed to yet. We love it. I was surprised to see every other comment on here about how crappy the quality of PB furniture is. Guess I don't know anything...

I have bought a rug. A couple of times a year- they have a promotion to offer a discount (between 10-20% off). Wait until that happens. They also occasionally have deals for shipping (although I don't know if that applies for furniture). That being said- I am not a fan of PB - I actually prefer RH - (I have 3 couches, a couple of chairs and some tables from there). Most of the new stuff is not my style- but I still like some of the classic stuff they have.

Don't do it. Everything we've bought from PB has been total shit. Finishes scratch easily, drawer tracks break and can't be replaced, two of our dining chairs just straight up fell apart after a few years of use and had to be glued back together (and we are not large people -- no one in our house weighs more than 150 lbs.). I have learned my lesson about PB. Pretty catalog, terrible quality.

I bought a 5000 dollar leather sectional. Came with a defect in the back that I didn't report because I couldn't bear to wait for another one. Now, two months later, the leather is trashed (little nicks out of it). I assume it must be from botto a on pants sitting on the seat or something. I'm really unhappy. Also, I've been waiting g for a light fixture since October. They claim it will come in January. Never again.

I just spent 3k on some furniture there. Never have I experienced such bad customer service and delivery issues. You can tell them the same information over and over again and they continue to ask for the same things. Still waiting on shipping since they lost my main number, cell number and email 7 times now. I keep calling asking about my items and they tell me the same story of not having my contact info.

Without commenting on the quality, you don't have to pay the shipping if you get it shipped to the store and pick up yourself. We got a desk similar to the one you are looking at and transported the top, and the 2 side units, in 2 trips in a small SUV. I will also note that the first person we spoke to there erroneously told us that we did still have to pay the extra charges even if we had it sent to the store, so I'm not sure their staff is well versed in the shipping options.

Every fucking thing I have bought from that has ended up scratched and decrepit quickly. All attempts to get it repaired through PB have failed. Never again.
