I think you are missing the point. No doubt we have all been pissed and disgusted. Absolutely. It's a question of how long you decide to hold on to those feelings. And a question of whether the holidays are the time for reflecting on feelings of ill-will and cherishing bad experiences, or deciding that everyone is doing their best, letting go, and moving on in the hopes that 2015 will be better. 100% of the posters on this forum can relate to OP's experiences, without a doubt. Do we want to spend Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. ruminating on a two hour wait for a doctor, on a pediatrician we had a disagreement with? Well, I can only speak for myself and the answer is HELL NO.

Plus, don't we get to vent a bit about providers who totally missed the boat and left us spinning in circles and losing precious time in getting treatment.
Personally, I have a huge list of providers who have totally wasted our time and charged us for that privilege.
Same here. When we exited EI I had so much pent up anger--this is when you are acclimating to the idea that your kid is not typical, learning the system, dealing with the various therapists' personalities. I'm an introvert and I just could not deal with having so many people come through my house. I thought OP was funny.
+2 The hoochi dressing SLP commentwas funny. I enjoyed OP's vent and it sounds like she has every right to be crabby.
If you've been a SN parent for a while, you'll eventually gather a huge list of expensive, ineffective, and incompetent providers unfortunately.
Agreed, and I totally understand how OP feels. Like none of you have ever been disgusted or pissed off at your kids' providers?? then you are just lying to yourself. stop acting like you live in glass houses.
