I agree with the two PPs who suggested Giant. Lobster is extremely easy to cook.

You beat me to it. Really I am down to earth about most things, but having been born and raised in Maine I do not eat lobster anywhere but home.

Agreed. The Clam Shack in Kennebunk is the best I've had - and the cheapest. It is, in fact, a shack on the side of the pier.

Yes to The Clam Shack! I love, love, love that place. Never thought I'd come across The Clam Shack on DCUM!!

In Maine, during the summer. Doesn't seem right to be eating lobster in the cold. Luke's or Hank's Oyster Bar have decent lobster rolls, but it's a summer thing.

There is a new place in the food court in Montgomery mall. Try that and if he doesn't like it, there is always a McD a few feet away.

If you're out in the VA burbs, I'd say Fords fish shack.

Almost all large supermarkets do this - a very smart way to go (and I think I'm going to treat myself to one this week now that you've mentioned it!).

Anonymous wrote:Luke's Lobster or Willie T's Lobster Shack. But it's kind of weird that you feel you have to "introduce" it. A lot of people don't eat lobster until they are older and come to it themselves.

Her kid asked to try a lobster. That seems to me as good a reason as any for eating lobster.

OP, my kid eats lobster once a year when Clyde's has their "lobster special of the month". It something we all look forward to as a family tradition. He liked lobster enough to participate in the family tradition (we'd be fine if he ordered something else), but not enough to choose it at other times of the year.
