It was her idea, which he presented to me and then made all the arrangements for. I am happy to visit his mom, or have her visit, which she does and stays in a hotel for - makes little difference in their dynamic.

That said, we went out to dinner tonight and he was lovely and she was thrilled and everyone is nicely having ice cream together on the deck now.
