New Poster. I am with SSA and we have the same arrangement.
Some people get in at 6am, others at 9:30 (the latest allowed).

Our start/end times are flexible, but FT employees work at least 8 hours a day plus a 30 min, unpaid, mandatory lunch. So if your start time is 8:30am, your work day ends at 5pm (although people often stay late because the work load requires it).

Depending on the job definitely anything GS14-15), you can expect to work more than 40 hours a week, too. My husband routinely works 8:30-6:30, and often later.
