If this is OP I am so sorry to hear this! Good luck next cycle!

At my second Beta my number didn't increase and I ended up getting my period a couple of days later. I was so hopeful for a couple of days. Scheduled for our final FET next month. We are hoping this is the one good one out of all of our cycles!!

people have very different ideas about what "faint" lines look like.

"First beta" means nothing, as clinics draw at various different times. OP's first beta was at 13dp5dt, so if you had a "low beta" then that might be hopeful to her.

I think SG is looking for anything above 100 where you are at OP. What was your beta?

OP - what is the number?

My first beta (at 10 DPO) was only a 7, which barely registers as positive. My doctor told me to expect a miscarriage, even after a second beta showed doubling. It wasn't until we saw a good heartbeat and appropriate growth at 6 weeks that I took a deep breath.

This may be a totally pointless exercise, but here goes (because my beta is the lowest I have ever heard of, so this may be helpful): if I had a beta of 7 at 10 DPO, then at 18 DPO (when you had yours), it would have been 112 if it doubled every 48 hours. That would seem very low to a doctor.

Also, this is helpful: http://www.betabase.info/chart/basic/single

What was the beta number? I had a number of around 30 at 9dp5dt and it worked out after a few scares. My doctor said that number was "on the fence" and could go either way. At 11 dpo, the number was almost 100. To be honest, it seems pretty unlikely to work out if the number was much lower than that, although I'm heartbroken for you if that is the case OP.

My first beta was 25. Got the beta the day after a very faint line at about 10 dpo. Now 15 weeks along. I didn't do IVF though so I'm not sure if how many "dpo" you are is important in relation to that number.

To add on to that, I was worried, and even the nurse wasn't very optimistic, but as long as it doubles that's a good sign.
