There are men OP's age who would be interested in her. Some guys have already been divorced at this stage, others may have dated in their 20s, had a couple of LTRs that didn't pan into marriage, and want to meet someone who is attractive and educated.

Attracting a man is very different from keeping a man.

Back when I was single, male (still am male, btw), and looking, I was in my early 30's. While I did not have problems getting dates, there did seem to be a number of men in my age group that were single. Today, I do not really know anyone who is single in my age group (now 50's).

Most of those men are married. DC has a lot of 30-something, single women too.

Don't sell yourself short, but don't be too choosy either.

For crap's sake, if you are in DC, you can find a new guy to date every day of the month. I cannot believe questions like this even get posted. Walk into a bar, mostly men, go online, you will get dozens of emails.

You'll be fine. If you are willing to date within the range of a few years younger than you, say 31, up to 45, then you have a pretty sizeable bracket to work within. It's the girls who set these crazy parameters, like they will only date 32-35, who run into trouble. You seem pretty open minded, so carry that through and you'll be good to go.

I'm ok with any age under 45
