I occasionally encounter crazy women , but generally i love the company and friendship of other women. I probably like it too much.

Try working with all women directors and see how no one below them works longer than a year.

Np here. This does not support your point at all, OP. Do you not realize that?

No. Women only hate women who are prettier, have more successful husbands, money etc. (I don't think this is limited to women though.)

Women will also gang up on you just like in this thread

Yes it is true. Most women just think it is part of being "friends". This accounts for the others' responses

All women don't hate each other. We love, cherish and support our friends. But women can be very judgmental and catty. Women are also very competitive. We don't display it as much on the sports field, but lots of the bitchiness you observe is veiled competitiveness. All these PPs sound like lovely people -- but I think that are focusing only on the good. Women can be fierce and cruel.

I have two main groups of friends. among both, it would be pretty unacceptable to make a catty or critical comment about another acquaintance. I think people would give a quizzical look and feel uncomfortable. It would reflect poorly on the critical one.

Nope. I went to an all girls high school (not in DC) and while we sometimes got in fights, we also supported each other so much more than I'd ever previously known was possible. I learned that you could be honest about yourself and your life, and true friends will still love you. I learned how to be a good friend and have good friends. I learned that my friends were even more accepting than my parents could be.

Since then I've sought out women to be friends with who feel the same way I do. We sometimes need to agree to disagree, or take breaks from each other but we always forgive or talk things out and come back to each other. I seek out women who are very low drama. I have daughters and want them to be able to see me as an example of how to be a friend.

^^^ true.. Women are healthcare service gluttons, they are obsessed with health care.

Men are actually more sensitive than women in my experience. Women can throw people under the bus much more easily. If they are somewhat attractive, they HATE women who are more attractive but defer to them.

Women can be tough self centered survivalists. When they are on their breast cancer walks or contraception rampages try to even bring up if they care that men die ten years younger than them and they look at you like you're satan.

I'm the sarcastic PP from above. Why do you think your anecdotal "evidence" gives you the information to draw such a broad conclusion? That is why I am being insincere. You are coming back defending your question. How can you expect your question to be taken seriously? Society would not function if all women hated each other.

My conclusion is that you have limited interactions with not that many women and you think your experiences are everyone's experiences.
