Seriously, particularly the year we had a 7 day old. I think towards the end of the day one of us went "Oh, isn't it our anniversary?"
I haven't a clue when my ILs' anniversary is. I sort of remember my parents, I know this year is their 50th and my brother and I are throwing a party for them because that seems like a big deal.

If you want a celebration you as the spouses are the hosts and invite people. You can't expect cards or congratulations for this...that's actually really weird. It's a day that's special to husband and wife - nobody else.
