Why is everyone so anti military guys? I grew up in a small town that was dominated by a large marine base. I dated a few marines and they were a fun time, except for the pilot.

Go to pentagon row for happy hour/drinks or to old town Alexandria or rhinos in Georgetown. All seem to have a lot of military- youngest at rhino.

What's an "NPD?"

Or you can move to a military town and hang out at some popular military hang outs like clubs, bars, etc. by the bases.

I live in San Diego, CA and there are tons of military bases and guys out here.

You would love it.

I went on match and favorited some guys. I guess at my age they're mostly out of the service. The thing is they're all into running and I have a health problem where I'm supposed to stay away from running or anything high impact. Hmm. They look so good in those uniforms though!

If you want to meet them...try living near a large base. The pp's are correct in that they tend to have dysfunctional relationships.

I married one...he is a great husband and father. Never considered it but it just happened. Most are great guys and will help and care for their own.

Are you in this area? Go on a dating site and look for guys in Lexington Park, MD. There is a huge base there, and most guys are military men.
