More middle class families have more confidence in Catania because he seems willing to shake things up. Not in a self-promoting Rhee-Fenty public relations sort of way, but in a substantive ways like recruiting the right people for the right jobs and focussing on fixes at the school level.
Because of the enthusiasm gap (really, not even the D's like Bowser), this election is going to be very close. If you don't vote, you don't get to complain.
DC parents can be the difference in this race.
