Jackie's is still good for kids. They still have the kids menu. Agree with Pacci's suggestion. A hidden gem is Sergio's in the Doubletree hotel. Nice reasonably priced Italian with many fresh made pasta options.

The Classics is also good with very reasonably priced steaks and mac and cheese side dish for the kids supplemented with portions from our dishes since I can never finish my own meal there.

Are ethnic restaurants a possibility? Plenty of decent Thai and Vietnamese options as well as Mandalay for Burmese.
