Especially when it is a table of 6 and already limited seating. Sounds like the "10 minutes" was a mistake and likely an automated answer. Either way, I wouldn't be this pissed about it hours later

Don't go to popular places with preschoolers! BTW the Ted's in Capitol Hill has always been a place to avoid - the service was spotty pre-kids and it was always too crowded. No way would I attempt it (or any brunch spot, really) on the weekends.
