Puts the dirty dishes NEXT to the sink, but not in it.
Refuses to put away the already folded clothes.
On the rare occasion he puts his dish in the sink, he also puts the paper napkin in there.
Never remembers to put in his collar stays, and then never remembers to remove them before they go to the drycleaner
Leaves crumbled pocket receipts and change EVERYWHERE.

Hahahah, coffee cups all over the house -- I so relate to that!

Also, DH and I split up chores. I do most of the laundry b/c I can throw a load in while working at home. All I ask is that he put it away before it's time to start more laundry, so I can at least feel as if I'm not doing a continuous never ending cycle of laundry.

If I have everything folded and ready to go on Tues, it will still be sitting ready to be put away on Sat. And then Sun. I start separating again! It drives me bonkers, but I love him

My husband is also seriously a hoarder. Although he complains non stop when I buy things.

He also never turns on his phone. DRIVES ME CRAZY.

He is a pianist by hobby, and often when we're talking his fingers are playing. Sometimes I lean over and lay my hand over his to quiet his fingers. I'm hyper and have a hard time focusing so when he does that it is very distracting (I can't talk with the tv on either).

This sounds so cute and irritating all at the same time.

My DH leaves dirty socks all over. He also likes to sleep with baby in the bed with us. I put baby in crib, we all fall asleep, DH will go get baby and put baby in bed with us. I then wake up and put baby back in crib. DH then wakes up and brings baby back. This happens 4 or 5 nights a week.

My DH is in the habit of walking in, and then sitting on the couch in his overcoat because "he's cold". I can't stand wearing street clothes at home and change immediately when I come home. Drives me batty to see him bundled up on the couch.

I try not to be a bitch about it. Sometimes I fail. I'm sure lots of things about me annoy him too.

My wife hates using the telephone, so avoids it as much as possible. She'll answer the phone, but she only checks the answering machine about once or twice a week. She will only answer her cell if it is in her hand when it rings. Doesn't check VM on cell. Only checks texts if they come in while she has the phone out. Never goes back to check any of the above. More than half the time, the battery in her phone has died and she has to charge it so the phone isn't even on. She'll charge it and makes sure that she has it when she needs something from me (like when she needs a ride home from metro), but otherwise, doesn't pay much attention to either the house or cell phone.

Makes trying to get in touch with her or coordinate anything very difficult. Also means that the only way to leave messages is via email and if she isn't by a computer, I'm SOL.

Hates to throw anything away. Seriously may be a hoarder.

- Hates to stop for potty breaks while on road trips, although listening to him try to convince DC they can wait another 50 miles is pretty entertaining...

He is a great husband and daddy, and I couldn't imagine life without him though.

#2 is related and because of his slowness, we are late to everything! Some times I want to tear my hair out and scream. The worst part is that if I do nag, he hurries up incredibly. I think he just likes being nagged. fml

My god. We are married to the same person.

Tells me he loves how I look with styled hair/nice makeup yet gripes about how long it takes me to get ready. Either you wait while I blow dry and style or you enjoy my ponytail and bare face.

Mine is totally negative - his first reaction is always "no" and he then feels like he has to dig in. For example - my mom offers to babysit tomorrow night so we can go out to dinner. i call him at work to see where he wants to go and he says "I'm busy and don't want to go out to dinner but we can talk about it later"

All but #2 apply to me. If I didn't know better, I would think you were my husband on here griping about me.

Drives like it's DC rush hour all the time. (It has gotten so much worse since he started driving to work.)

Asks me repeatedly when dinner will be ready, but only once it's on the table will he get something to drink, put on some music, light the candles...

Acts like he is at deaths door when he has a cold. but doesn't want to take any medicine to treat it!
