This. The chicken is meh to me, but I could eat lots of the red beans and rice.

Can eat large order of ride beans and rice by myself. Reminds me of when I lived in New Orleans, but gives me bad gas.

Biscuit with strawberry jam...mmm.

I'm not helping. Sorry, OP. Enjoy your Popeye's!

OK, here: You *will* feel sick afterward and you'll need to brush your teeth twice to get the taste out. Better?

Not saturated fat

Saturated fat is very good for you. Trans fat is not.

Saturated fat is the type of fat new research is showing is good for you. Studies are showing saturated fat does not clog up arteries and cause heart issues. Saturated fat helps break down sugar and low fat diets can be one of the causes for increased diabetes risk.

Just saute some Spinach in Olive Oil and you'll be fine.

Seriously. Sometimes I wish there was a way I could only get the skin.

But then I'd way 500 lbs, so it's probably better this way.

What's the point of eating fried chicken if you don't eat the crispy skin? If I wanted to eat plain skinless chicken breasts (the peanut butter and jelly with the crusts cut off of the adult world), I would.

Blasphemy! That's the whole reason to eat this stuff!
Like drinking decaf coffee or alcohol free beer... doh.

Another Popeye's fan. There is simply no substitute. I would get a two-piece meal, with a biscuit and some fries. If you feel like crap after, then it might be a while before you do it again. Allowing myself to eat junk when the craving hits lets me eat healthfully most of the time. If I deny myself I will obsess about it and feel deprived.
