UMD and UMBC both are very strong STEM schools. I find it interesting how many magnet students go there. I do not have the stats for W school so I am not sure what the trend there is.

I also find it interesting how many students do not want to go to schools that is in their own backyard. I have a friend who lives in Palo Alto, his DC came for campus visits to the East coast because "everyone" from Palo Alto goes to Berkeley and UCLA.
