Leo or Max? Watch out we got a rebel here! The next child's going to be a Jayden or Hunter or Skyler or Jackson or Dakota or Benjamin or Dante--real rebel names.

If you are in MD you have one year to change the name for any reason without a whole big issue. I like the idea of a naming party. Maybe anounce his name at first birthday. If it upsets you this much, address it now or forever hold your peace.

Is it Ryder?

close Rhys, but it might as well be Pilot Inspektor considering how conservative this board is.

It's all in the way you present the information.

Blame the victim, how classic DCUM.

Huh? What victim?

You could still change his name. My cousin did this and had a name changing party for her kid. She didn't think the first name she picked fit his personality.

I'm one of the call-him-what-you-like posters, but, really, if it bothers you so strongly this far out, maybe change it?

Call him the name you like. Seriously. I know several kids whose nicknames are nothing like their "real" names.
