if that's the case, just go to pepperdine

You attribute their qualities to Chapman? Smart well-rounded people tend to come off as smart, well-rounded and well-read regardless of where they went to college. The college you attended says much more about your family circumstances and where you were reared than it does about how smart you are - and being well-rounded has very little correlation with the school you attended.

On the plus side, the student body is highly attractive, but that's an OC thing: all the students here starve themselves, get plastic surgery, and have a very unhealthy body image. I don't know if you would want to expose your daughter to that.
well, that describes some of the W schools in MoCo, so maybe OP's DD will fit right in.

Chapman is in OC, in Fullerton, or at least near it, not in LA.
You do realize it's fine to refer to the OC as la. It's not the end of the world.

Can you elaborate about the town? What's it like?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It can't be worse than the college town at UC Santa Barbara. I went there on a college visit with my DD last year and I felt like I was on the Jersey Shore - except with a sunnier, hotter beach. Very trashy, dirty environment.
Um... ok. UCSB does not equal Chapman, dirty town or not.
And I think the PP above who said Chapman was in LA (vs the OC) is a great example of how little regard even Californians have for Chapman.
