Unfortunately I don't think you can do anything. Maybe she could become a hairdresser or some such? Get a "real" profession that would feed her if needed.

Yes, she is not ambitious. That can be mysterious or frustrating to parents or other siblings who are.

Just focus on being the best "you" you can be and lead by example, not words. Meanwhile, she will continue to land on her fit, be that through her husband or taint a job when she needs to (not wants to).

OP, I'm a new poster and you are an absolute nightmare.

Can you just hear yourself? "At the very least she could become a stay at home mom and give me grand children". You realize that this is incredibly offensive?
1. It means that having children and not working outside the home is second class.
2. It also means you think yourself entitled to making reproductive choices for your adult daughter.
3. It also means you don't have any sort of boundaries at all.

I have a child with special needs. I understand that my necessary intrusion into his young life because of his learning differences and quirkiness will eventually have to recede into the background. After all, our children are not stupid, and they can make up their own minds!

So leave her alone. Let her be happy on her own terms. Don't nag and keep your worries to yourself.
