My child is in pk4. He loves it. He speaks another language. His literacy and reading in English is hugely improved. There have been two teacher changes this year in the whole school, both left for other jobs. The senior administration has been exemplary and personable for us as a family. We are looking to enroll our other child next school year, who has potentially significant physical and speech needs. They have already met with me to discuss how we will transition him to a school environment and are able and willing to accomodate and "hold my hand" through the process. We have every confidence this school will be a success. Those are the facts as i see them, bash all you want, or be pedantic about people's choice of words, but your child may just be missing out.

The original principal left the first week of school. You are referring to the executive director, who was never in the building. He may be home with his newly adopted baby, but the board also wasn't going to renew his contract.

The new Head of School at Sela is excellent, very communicative with parents and focuses on a strong curriculum and immersion program.

I think you're responding to the wrong person. I never said that my child was in an unstable environment. That was mentioned by another person.

Yes there was a new english teacher because the teacher that they had received an amazing job opportunity that he couldnt pass up, this happens to schools everyday but that doesnt equate to an unstable environment or alot of teacher changes.
