It's not that she's fat ( I consider her overweight not fat) it's that she purposely looks as sloppy as she can. Just because she's not a stick doesn't mean she can't look put together.

I can't believe the number of mean, insecure people on here who insist on fat shaming. Lena Dunham would be considered the ideal women in other historical periods.
I so wish our culture could get back to a more realistic view of the variety to human body shapes but the internet is just making it worse.
I don't care for any woman regardless of size feeling she needs to put it out there "because I'm not ashamed like you want me to be." I'm tired of her like I'm tired of Miley Cyrus and her high-cut teddies and JLo and her butt string videos.

No, of course not. I am a fan of the Dove ads, for instance. It celebrates "normal" looking women, and I think that's a good thing.

I do too. It does seem like she wears clothes that are intentionally unflattering though. It's odd. The outfit on the right would look bad on anyone over 3 years old.
Yes. She doesn't have to put out a sloppy image to make a point, and I really, 100% believe she does it to provoke reactions.

She's not even unusually overweight. She's probably in the normal range for American women. People are awful.
