Pretty sure the amount of acorns is related to past weather, not future weather.

Climate change is real. Don't peole see how extreme weather is happeneing all over?!?

A few weeks ago there was a fake article that showed up on a lot of Facebook posts. I know a bunch of people shared it and absolutely believed it was real. Turns out it was a total parody, but my mother, sister, and many others remain convinced this will be the worst winter in the history of mankind.

Guaranteed snowmageddon 24/7 from October to April. At least if you believe my inlaws, but that's their prediction for EVERY DC winter ever since they visited in early February 2010. We'll see if a baby is enough to get them to brave DC between October and April...

I feel like the squirrels have been busy earlier this year as well. They are fat.

My neighbor confirmed that the influx of acorns accurately predicts a "terrrrrrible" winter.

We won't have snow, I just bought snow boots for my kids. Last year, I didn't. I know that my consumption patterns drive the weather. Just saying.

The sound of the acorns hitting my roof is explosive this year. They must be heavier, bigger, more dense. Would that be connected to a heavier or lighter winter?

A huge group of Robins are flocking in my yard. I see them do this 2x a year - at the change of season - in March and October.

Plus my dog is growing a lot of fur between his paws. Maybe unrelated, but mother nature has her ways.

I remember the squirrels going absolutely crazy last year. I haven't noticed it as much this year.
