Some people are really ignorant when it comes to applying poisons. +1 If you wouldn't feel safe drinking a liquid why do you feel okay feeding that pesticide or herbicide to your yard?! This 1970s attitude that science can develop a magic compound to cure every problem lacks an appropriate understanding of complex systems and networks. Introducing something new into nature always leads to unintended consequences. If Fairfax wasn't so draconian in their policies toward animals, I would keep several laying hens in my backyard to eat the mosquitoes.
