I've heard it for both. We chose that name for our boy due in December!

Time to turn the tables on all these parents who are appropriating classic boy's names into girl's names.

It's only "appropriating" if parents of boys think, "Girls use this name, therefore boys can't!" Parents of girls don't think, "Boys use this name, therefore girls can't!" Why the difference?

I'm a guy and I think boy first. Not really a girl's name.

A wretched name either way, but sounds like a girl's name.

My sister chose it as a "unisex" name when they did not know the sex of their baby before birth. Her son Harper is now 3, and I really do think of it as a girl's name. Cute kid, but seeing him nearly every day has not changed my initial impression that he is a boy with a girl's name.

Definitely a girl.

Terrible name. No idea why this one has shot up in popularity.
