I give Viola D credit for that scene. And she is an awesome actress overall. However, I think the show otherwise sucks.

This week's episode was the best one yet! The ending scene with Viola Davis removing her wig, make up, and then confronting her husband-WOW!!!

I love this show. I don't know anyone else who likes it or watches it though.

No, he has two! The other one is confused puppy.

I still like the show, though - less contrived than Scandal and no multiple long-lost sisters a la Grey's.

Last night's episode was awesome! This show has completely sucked me in.

This evenings episode did not disappoint! Viola Davis has created such an intriguing character. I knew the psych professor was bad news. It looks like in the previews for the next episode he gets violent with her when she asks about the photos. My original theory that she kills her husband and the law students cover it up seems plausible.

Or was he involved in some other murder?

From what I understand, the murder has already happened and is the "current time". The flashbacks are flashbacks to what was happening prior to the murder!

I love her death stare. Wonder who will turn out to be the bigger sociopath her or her psychology professor husband or her students? I'm hooked on this show more than Scandal now and there has only been 1 episode.

I've worked in big law for a very long time. IMO, about 70% of lawyers are indeed sociopaths or just generally bat shit crazy.

I agree if you limit that to big law lawyers.

DH and I watched the pilot last night. We both commented that he resembles C Thomas Howell in Rain Man!
Agree with the deer in the headlights look but I found it kind of endearing. His expression was just so over the top I couldn't help but like it.

You know who that dude is? Dean from the Harry Potter movies. All grown up.

I was sucked in too and good timing because I'm not watching much of anything else right now. Was anyone else annoyed by those reminder flashbacks, like when her bf/lover was about to take the stand and they flashed back on the office scene? Why the need when we had just watched that scene a few minutes ago? They did the same thing with her husband and I think with some others as well. Why waste time doing that?

Liza Weil, from Gilmore Girls is in it, but looks painfully thin.

No law school professor would let her beginning students audition to help her in a case like that.

She was in Scandal early on.
I find that actress raspy and annoying. Maybe I can't shake her Paris character.
