Subject: Why do bedding sets come with crib bumpers?

We used the bumpers and the diaper thing tied to the side of the crib. We live in a tiny apt and tying it to the crib made the most sense b/c the dresser with changing pad top was right next to it.

I bought a set as a FTM, and what a waste. I could really only use the fitted sheet, and there was only one!
Pregnant with my second, and definitely just buying a few fitted sheets this time around.

We bought the set. I wish we had spent more since we still have them as a memento.

Another one who just bought fitted sheets & a mattress pad. We got mesh bumpers when my DD kept getting her legs stuck. They are awful looking, but functional and safer than regular bumpers.
