OP, I was going to recommend kate spade too. I have this one and it's perfect for a purse/carrying a few folders/papers. Just used it at a meeting this morning.

I have this too, only in garnet red color. Love it! I found it a bit cheaper on Amazon.

I have this exact bag and use it for work every day. It's amazing and I get so many compliments. Totally, totally worth it.
