Op here, sorry for the lack of update.

1. He's not married. I'm a daily part of his life, various hours of the day, spend time with his friends and family, spend time in his home, have cared for his animals when he's been gone. I have no doubt about that.
2. We have plenty of space in our relationship.
3. He texted about an hour after I posted this.
4. It was an issue of miscommunication. He thought he told me he had softball practice, but he had actually only told me when he had a game (the next night). He took a nap after work, woke up and went to practice, went out with the team, and text me when he got home. We caught up on our days like normal and that was that.

Sorry for the misuse of incognito, I blame being tired and worried

It's possible he lost his phone. A guy I was dating went to Vegas with his friends. That was the last I heard from him for awhile. Phone and wallet were stolen! He apologized profusely when he got back in touch. (which took him awhile to track him down, as he didn't have my email address and we weren't connected on FB.)

Otherwise, I'd wait to contact him again until you hear from him. And you may not hear from him. Unfortunately some guys consider it acceptable to just disappear after dating for awhile. Sometimes the ex comes back into the picture or they have met someone else or just lost interest and are afraid to tell you and be the bad guy. Hope that's not the case.

Some people here are so crazy.

Also, your definition of tentative plans may not be the same as his. Maybe he had to work late, maybe he felt tired, who knows/who cares. If it starts being a frequent thing then yeah I'd address it but not on a one-off basis.
