My mother has hinted around this "holiday" to me, as if she wants me to get the kids to get her something. I refuse and she doesn't mention it anymore.

Last year my nephew's school had an activity/event for it so this year, when my mom saw it on her calendar, she called to find out if there was going to be a similar one. She eats the Hallmark type stuff for breakfast.

My kids mentioned it was Gparents day to my parents and my dad's response was "Says who?" They were visiting us and we still did nothing special, other than the usual spend time with them.

Grandparents' Day is a made-up Hallmark holiday. We honor my parents on their respective Mother's/Father's Day. I don't even know when Grandparents' Day is.

Didn't even know about it. I don't think either of my parents did either. ILs might have been aware of it but they are both dead.

I am aware of GP's day, but couldn't give a darn about it

Grandparents in our family are celebrated on Mother's Day and Father's Day. They get cards and gifts from their kids and grandkids.
