A lot of my friends think it's really great. It's completely transformed some of their bodies. Of course a few of them have completely gone off the deep end and it's like a cult for them, but hey, they're happy.
I do think there's something to be said for functional exercises vs. weight stations and for not doing the same workout day after day. It's easy to get in a rut and stop seeing results when your workout is always the same.
I do know one guy who supposedly does crossfit pretty religiously and he has actually gotten fatter. I don't quite understand how that happens. So it's not foolproof.
