From the Ed Sullivan show to Jimmy Fallon - I can't think of another performer who has spanned such a time frame. Love her act or hate it, she broke ground for female comedians and should be remembered for at least that.

Some needy people are jealous about absolutely anything, even attention paid to someone who passed away. Sick, needy weird people out there.

OP, a lot of people admire her and some even liked her. I don't understand how you can call her mean and say she hit below the belt when you are posting this about her a few hours after her death. Maybe that is why you are jealous -- you see yourself in your own description of her, minus the fame and fortune and hobnobbing with the stars and groundbreaking and history making and all that, of course.

P.S. -- most healthy people know how to take a joke. They don't mind.


Apparently, it's a terrible sin to make fun of a bunch of self-important wealthy people who dress up in free stuff and to go to a 4-hour party to metaphorically fellate one another.

So......OP is mad because people are mourning her death?

I think you need to ask some questions about your own life and your own happiness if people showing grief over the death of a famous person upsets you. Maybe you did not value her, but clearly others did.

I'm the one who pointed this out in the other thread - it is so, so true. And she certainly made as much fun of herself - even her husband's suicide - as much as she made fun of others.
