TJ Maxx and Marshalls have great leggings. I bought some fleece lined ones that are awesome in the winter. BTW, they carry Hue leggings there too.

I cannot believe that no one has mentioned Hue!! I am a legging-holic and used to stick primarily to old navy and target bc of the price. My DH used to get annoyed because the fabric was so thin and would get see through when I vent over etc. The ladies on this board recommended hue and I have not looked back! I get mine at Nordstrom and the quality is absolutely fantastic. I want to say they are in the $35/pair range but honestly they are such good quality I feel like they should be priced higher. The wide waistband ones are very flattering on your stomach if you need help in that area, also.

Hue makes a pair with the most amazing waistband. Highly recommend.

Last winter I took to wearing Old Navy compression running tights as leggings under tunics and sweater dresses. Very smooth line and with boots, what one saw of the leggings was fine. Got lots of compliments on the outfit. The running tights also come in long which I appreciated.
