Honestly I'm not looking for a debate. I'm just having a hard time seeing how things can get better for us under this administration.

You asked a question...and then said you did not want a debate. So I will just answer your question and not give you the rationale for my answer (although I can't see how my answer has any value without the rationale).

"We are a strong country."

Historically this was the case but no longer.

To the PP who mentioned that Europe is more democratic than the US, note that democracies have elected muslim extremists and neo-nazis. It's only a matter of time before we have the same here.

I'm not scared.

The US is a very strong country. We like to bicker and fight amongst ourselves. But when truly threatened our directly attacked by a foreign entity we can and do quickly ban together and vehemently defend ourselves. I'm not one bit worried that would not happen.
