According to LongTermCare.gov, in 2012 around the DC area, the average nursing home (semi-private room) was over $93K/year. A private room in a nursing home cost over $109K.

You'll be fine as long as you die within 10 years. You'll even have a few hundred $k to leave to your children. With proper planning your finances and ultimate demise should work out perfectly.
