From Rockville, either you want to go and park downtown and eat somewhere within walking distance of your destination, or you want to eat out in the suburbs. If you are going to the suburbs, try stopping in Columbia. Eggspectation in Ellicott City is only a few minutes off of I-95. Same with Fuddruckers, La Madeleine, Noodle Corner, Cheeburger Cheeburger. Just a few of the places that we go. Laurel is also right on I-95 and within 3 miles of the highway you can get to Silver Diner, Ledo's Pizza, Three Brothers Pizza, Shane's Rib Shack, a brand new Panera (just opened last week). Also, if you are coming up US-29, then you also have those businesses near the Columbia Town Center. Tons of good options in the Columbia/Ellicott City area.

This fall, there will be a lot more options. Laurel Mall is currently being rebuilt as one of these Town Center type places. Several business are already open, several are being built and should open in the next couple of months and the majority is scheduled to open "Fall 2014".
