I love that smile... keep smiling and working unlike those loafing across the aisle...
Illegally working.
Just wait. Should be fun when you reap the bennies of your wishes. Maybe a loved one will lose their life to an illegal, or be horribly maimed. What, I'm racist? Ask my mother, who lives in pain ever say of her life because it wasn't fair to deport drunk criminals the first two tines because he's brown, as you libs like to say. . Or perhaps someone you love will die at the hands of a thug, and when you ask for justice, you'll will be called a racist. Or on a lesser scale, schooling for your child goes downhill. Or you lose your job. Or your spouse does.
What, you only take issue with the "brown" illegals? What about the white illegals from Canada, Germany, and the U.K.?
Don't like them either. But I also don't see them getting special privileges

I looked at the tape, and it looked like the way I would have acted if I felt I was being railroaded by someone who wanted to ruin my career. I think the charge against Perry is pure politics, but I also think this whole thing is pure politics.

She blew a 2.5. She was stone drunk on that tape. Ordinary citizens were so alarmed at her driving, they called her in. How can you make excuses for that kind of drunk operating a motor vehicle.
She ruined her career.

So he defunded the Public Integrity Unit, while they were investigating him? Nice!
Some public integrity when the boss has been in jail for dwi and tried to use her office to help her.
That's par for the course with dems. I don't have to read further in this thread to know her behavior will be defended and/or excused/ignored
NP and a den who grew up in Texas. I think it's interesting. The charges seem pretty ambitious to be brought against a standing governor, instead of waiting. The governor is alleged to have improperly defunded the ethics watchdog to force the resignation of Lehmberg, who had been caught acting disgracefully. At first look, it seems legit, she should have resigned. Why didn't she? Because he would have appointed his own guy in her place, who would be sympathetic to him. So the whole thing is political and ambiguous.
I'll watch it play out. I wonder if it will end his presidential aspirations, or if everyone will dismiss the whole thing.
