Hee hee.

(You did intend that as a joke, right?)

Not this poster. But I have to say she was right. Wootton area is not nearly as expensive as those areas she listed. Where do you live?

I'm not jealous. I'm a Wootton cluster parent not looking forward to this superficial cr** when my kid hits high school.

Wait, what am I jealous of? I need to know, please. Thanks.

Sorry let me rephrase:

I can't believe how jealous some parent in the non-w-schools are!

Nope. I don't care what kind of car I drive or what my kid will drive, so long as it gets good gas mileage and is reliable and safe. A lot of the luxury cars are not as reliable as some of the more mid-priced ones. Same goes for my clothes. Not into name brands. I put my money in other things.

I agree. I just don't understand where the talking of BMW, Whole food, etc. come from.
Ps, I am not a Wootton parent.

The real question is how can I convince a student to sell (or better yet gift) me his or her "old car"? I'm a teacher and have no shame since I currently drive a 10 year old non-luxury sedan to my W feeder school.

Wootton is still exurban enough to need a car. So there are still many kids who crave a license. Not a very walkable area at all.

What kind of parent are you. She should be driving a new 2015.
