I wished the genocide threat was unlocked. It really needs to be discussed. How many Israelis hold these views and is it gaining traction?
If you look at it, the number of jews advocating genocide is very very small. The number of Israelis is smaller. Number of muslims, somewhat higher (because there are many more muslims than jews)....
Even the people that advocate for ethnic cleansing are not advocating for genocide...there is a difference between expulsion and murder. 9I am not advocating for either).
If you want genocide, look at ISIS, not Israel.
I really do not see a difference b/t ISIS and Israel. I just do think Israel would force someone to convert to the state religion. Israel expels the people from the country.
ISIS targets the nonbelievers... Israel targets the militants. there is a huge difference. If you don't see this, I have no explanation other than Antisemitism.

If you are linking someone's actions to ethnicity, nationality, sex, or religion, you are right to get pushback.
If you criticize Israeli politics - and US support- you're viewed as an anti-Semite. This very point has been raised again and again on these boards.
Even if you try to ARGUE - which means you're discussing both sides using credible evidence that's balanced - you can't win b/c emotions overshadow reason.
same is true for the threads on Islamic covering
Every time a valid reason is raised, someone quotes from the Quran. Again, emotions win over reason.
We're not criticizing people; we're examining beliefs which MAY box people in.
And sadly, in many cases, there are blurred lines btw religious beliefs and politics.
Being too PC is dangerous, as it assumes we're to accept some poor behaviors from certain groups.
