There's a bed I really like... but it's 2k more than all the other ones I'm looking at. I'm wondering, if you have bought something from DWR, do you feel like the quality as well as the design make it worth the cost? Or not?

My experience with the the customer service was not good. I ordered an outdoor bench in October and there were delays in shipping. It finally arrived in December, but it was missing pieces so I couldn't actually assemble it. I had to reach out multiple times to get them to send the missing pieces, which arrived at the end of January. When the missing pieces finally arrived, I discovered that a piece of hardware was also missing. I reached out again and they never responded. I finally had to contact the manufacturer and they sent me the missing hardware. The bench was finally assembled in March. It was really disappointing, and I have now given DWR the lifetime ban. I really like Room and Board though!

I think only people who can afford a $10K sofa could answer this question. So if you have to ask...

I ask because $10K is getting into the realm of furniture ( RB, LR) that is expensive yet reputed to be well-made. Is DWR in fact as well made as the others?

Our Room and Board furniture has worn well, and we've been happy with the pieces we've bought. The quality of West Elm and Crate and Barrel is disappointing.

west elm is at the CB2 level. crate and barrel is significantly better.

If you do go ahead with DWR, wait until their semi-annual sale. I think there is one around March and another in Sept/Oct.

It is also Design Out of My Reach. I'm more of a Room and Board / CB2 price point person.
