In that case, I always try to top off glasses and keep my own tabs on equal pouring. And if they come back to try and top off unnecessarily, I just politely say something like, "we're good."

I'll get my wine at that little convenience store you have -- Town and Country? I love how thought-out and reasonably priced their selection is.
I hope the owner changes this strategy before alienating any more customers. Anonymous
Frankly OP, you sound crazy. This worked up over an ounce of wine? I suggest going to the store and buying a large bottle of wine and keep drinking until you sound like a normal person.

Being glad they are there is unfortunately kind of trumped when you are short changed. No, I did not talk to the owner while I was there. But I left feedback on their website.
I dont believe this was an accident. So Im not expecting any real results. It does not matter how hard the owner worked to get the store there. That is what it is to run a restaurant- you work hard. I have several friends who run restaurants- I know how hard they work. They also would never chintz on the wine. Its bad business. I work hard too and am also nice. Its not every day I go out to a restaurant of any kind.
Several restaurants have failed thinking they are so special to be in Kensington. Its not special if you dont deliver. I hope these people get it together, because their pizza is very good.
