I had a chuckle as well. Thanks.

I was just excited to have one of those faucets that pulls off of the base so you can use it to aim the water at the sink or dishes in it. It never occurred to me to mourn my lack of a "pot filler." Sheesh.

Also, I work out. I can lift a stockpot full of water to carry it the 24-36" from the stove to the sink. Twice.

I've never heard of a pot filler, nor have I seen one in anyone's house. Where do you all live?

The things people obsess over. I suppose at a certain price house people might demands it to make it easier on their executive chef. But please, as if people are going to not bid or lowball their offer just because of a missing pot filler.

Absolutely unecessary in a small kitchen especially if the stove is on the same wall as your sink. Why would you spend $ on plumbing that isn't needed? I spent the $$ on a glass tile (clear subway tiles) backsplash and under mounted cabinet lights for aesthetics and pullouts, drawers, and organizers in the cabinets to make the small space more functional.

I love love love my pot filler. It really looks good too.

I love my pot filler... above the range. I cook a lot of pasta. Yes, I have to take it to the sink to drain, but I don't have to move it from the sink to the range. Plus, I use it to boil off burnt food off the pans. I turn on the fan above the range and put the water in.. as soon as the water hits the hot pan, the fan takes the steam away. If I filled the hot pan at the sink, I'd have steam at my face from the pan.

It's not a deal breaker, nor do I think it adds huge value to the kitchen, but I love that I have it.
